Wherever I travel, I head to the food markets first to orientate myself in a world that's not mine. It's a place to meet locals, listen to their stories, and try regional foods and delicacies. Food is history, connection. sustenance. I’m curious about how geography and culture informs our relationship with food.

 

They're not easy images. But for me, the beauty of musculature and light becomes its own form of art. A tension that both repels and attracts. A terrible beauty.
