China was colour for me. I constantly saw the old world being eradicated by development. The city, with a population of over 6.5 million, was always in constant motion. Every day, I'd head out on my bicycle with my camera around my neck. It was challenging to see stillness through the crowds, in a place where all of life was visible in the street. But then, I began to see the quiet space.
